|2 tbsp / 25 ml||chopped fresh mint|
|Amount||zest of 1 lemon|
|1 tbsp / 15 ml||granulated sugar|
In a large bowl, combine berries and mint.
To prepare candied lemon zest, combine lemon zest and sugar in a small bowl. Set aside for 30 minutes, until zest and sugar begin to crystallize.
Just prior to serving, top fruit mixture with crystallized zest.
Optional: Garnish with 1 square of dark bittersweet chocolate.
